Faux Distress

I recently finished a cabinet job of the "faux" variety. The cabinets were newly installed and base painted. My job was to faux distress them. Looks like we've actually distressed to a dark wood, but alas, not. The client gets a more soulful aged look without actually beating up the new cabinets. A great alternative if changes are to be made later by the current or a subsequent owner of the house. The cabinet hardware,new lighting, and wallpaper are yet to be installed. It will be a beautiful new kitchen with old house warmth.
