First Snow

Before I awoke this morning, I knew the predicted snow had come. Living in Midtown Kansas City can be rather noisy most mornings, particularly in the winter with all the trees bare.  This morning there was a quiet hush as the freshly fallen snow absorbed the sounds of everyday life here in the city.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone--and a great New Year too!

The Holidays are arriving quickly--despite the weather.  In the 70's last week and the high today barely 30 --at least it feels more like Christmas!  Here are a couple winter pots I recently helped my friend Mary Barnes of Pinnacle Lawn Care create.  Let no pot be empty this or any winter!  Wishing everyone a safe and happy Holiday season!
