Real Distress

While we're on the subject of kitchens; here's the most recent. The original dark wood cabinets were painted, distressed, and over glazed. Beautifully detailed cabinets take on a lighter yet classic look. The new treatment brightened the area and shows off the detail in the frieze of the cornice, the pegged, distressed, and worm-holed wood, and the hardware that formerly blended in.
